Get rid of clutter: Clear out excess furniture. Too much furniture in a room makes the space look crowded and smaller, when you take out a couch or chair, the potential buyers can imagine their belongings in the room

Paint rooms neutral colors. Even though you love that brilliant blue bedroom or the beautiful wallpaper in the bathroom its hard to potential buyer to imagine their own style in a space that leaves little room for imagination.

Pick up the rugs on carpets. There may not be a stain under the rug but potential buyers automatically think that there is “something under there” when you put a rug on top of a carpet.
