2019, A Greater Year of Real Estate Adventure?

New Year resolutions are just not for me. Maybe because I dislike the possibility of failure too much. Instead, I set goals as I feel like I am ready to make a change and reflect on the challenges and successes of the past year. 2018, was definitely a GREAT year, and a year of change.

Being part of the community and supporting local businesses has always been important to me. Most of the time my volunteering has been in the form of writing a check or taking a role in a REALTOR organization. I love buying local products. Last year, I joined the Board for the Chatham Marketplace, a local  Chatham County co-op grocer in Pittsboro, NC. I am looking forward to volunteering in a community-focused way.

Moving, yikes! I sold my house near Chapel Hill, NC and bought a little 1940’s bungalow in downtown Pittsboro, NC, to renovate, and I still have a long way to go! Followed by a big update project on a rental property, and then sold that too. In addition, we moved our office downtown. Probably a little too much moving for one year!

Lil’ Simon, (the guy in red) was added to the family. He is the oh so adorable pocket beagle/pug mix. Linda Boucher and Mari Trosclair, two Real Estate Agents in Chatham County that I admire very much, are working from the office too, so I am even more excited about our new workspace in downtown Pittsboro. It was a great year for our team in 2018, and 2019 I bet will be even better! I hope you take on something you have always wanted to do or are working towards something new in 2019. Don’t wait!

Wishing You A Year Filled With Adventures
